Some young patients struggle with mental health disorders but do not need the around-the-clock care found in an inpatient setting. That’s why Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for young people ages 12 through 17, conducted via Zoom.
We treat a variety of conditions including:
- Anxiety
- Bipolar Disorder
- Depression
- Personality Disorders
- Substance Use Disorder
- Trauma, and other concerns
With this virtual IOP, patients can take part in group and individual therapy sessions as well as receive medication management.
Program Philosophy
Our philosophy is one of stabilization, personal growth and empowerment, through caring, validation and education — no matter where patients live.
Because patients play a crucial role in their own treatment, Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health believes that they are better able to help themselves and each other when they actively participate in groups. Staff and patients work together in a collaborative way toward achieving treatment goals.
We collaborate with school districts to ensure patients can log in to virtual group therapy from school, if needed. We can also work with those who are at home to provide the same group therapy service.
